Nellis AFB 2007 Airshow
The 2007 airshow was the mayor show for the 60th USAF anniversary and the USAF promised a superb show, well it was a good show.
Superb??? for a 60th anniversary, sorry NO, it was almost a copy from the 2006 show (see report here). Don't understand us wrong, it was a good show but
for an airforce like the USAF it was a mockery, the small Air Forces from Europe have much better anniversary airshows.
Where were the B-1B, B2, former USAF planes which were available, the NAVY ect.
During (not after) the show a 30 min !!! break for autographs from the Thunderbirds,
a movie instead of flying planes, this to fill the show? Because of this it was almost to dark for the last (best) part of the show to take
pictures. Nevertheless there was a superb demonstration from the F-22, some great F-4 fly-by's, so we had a good time but "USAF you must be ashamed what you showed your tax
payers during your mayor airshow"
